Your mission: conduct in-person and virtual instructor-led training for Denodo customers to help them realize their full potential through accelerated adoption and productive use of Denodo solutions.
Denodo is always looking for technical, passionate people to join our global Services Engineering team. We want a professional who will travel, evangelize and train to enhance our clients’ journey around Data Virtualization.
In this role you will successfully employ a combination of high technical expertise and client management skills to conduct successful trainings and design and develop instructional materials that are functional, intuitive, informative, interactive, and consistent with sound instructional design principles to support software training.
Product and technical knowledge:
Obtain and maintain strong knowledge of the Denodo Platform, be able to deliver a superb technical pitch, including overview of our key and advanced features and benefits, services offerings, differentiation, and competitive positioning.
Be able to address technical questions concerning customization, integration, enterprise architecture and general feature / functionality of our product.
Capable of designing and developing training and assessment materials for multiple delivery formats, including instructor-led classroom training, instructor-led virtual training, on-demand training (tutorials, videos), and conference events.
Provide timely, prioritized and complete customer-based feedback regarding the field usage of Denodo Platform and ideas for strengthening courses.
Presentation and organizational skills:
Train clients in the product architecture, configuration, and use of the Denodo Platform.
Present technical instruction in a way that engages and encourages the audience.
Provide input into the development of Denodo’s customer class schedule.
Promote Denodo Platform, consulting and training services to customers.
Collaborate with subject-matter experts to plan and develop training goals, objectives, and all course materials for individual courses, course series, and events.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop curriculum that is aligned with customer needs and product releases.
Identify, coach and mentor new technical trainers.
Analyzing customer expectations, conduct needs assessments, determining learning objectives and developing detailed learning plans and timelines
Build connection and credibility with customers and employees.
Ensure all materials adhere to principles of instructional design and interactive usability per customer needs
Promote knowledge and best practices during training courses.
Continually seek out ways of optimizing training delivery.
BS or higher degree in Computer Science.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to interact with technical counterparts.
Training instruction background of 3+ years, in a classroom and/or over the web (virtual delivery).
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

Solid understanding of SQL and good grasp of relational and analytical database management theory.
Willingness to travel around 75%.
Be a team worker with positive attitude.
Knowledge of pedagogical and anagogical learning principles.
Experience integrating modern learning practices (e.g., gamification, web-based learning solutions, onsite, virtual, classroom, MOOC, etc.)
Experience designing Technical Certification Paths.
Experience using internet hosted training and laboratory environment (i.e. WebEx, GoToMeeting, HatSize, ReadyTech, etc.).
Experience with project management.
Experience in attending customer meetings and writing technical documentation.
Foreign language skills are a plus.
