Telefónica has chosen the Denodo EII technology for its new software deployment management system.

Denodo continues its collaboration with Telefonica to create a new system which will gather and integrate in real time all the information related with software changes in the corporate systems (installations, new versions, patches...). These on-line reports will initially access to three operational systems (Zenon, PVCs and Peregrine) and will present its results in a web front-end.

The Denodo Platform will run on the same production environment as the one previously deployed to extract systems performance information for the Balanced Scorecard (BSC). This hardware/software infrastructure is a example case that can clearly illustrate the competitive advantages of the EII paradigm: a lightweight system will manage the processing of queries on multiple sources without requiring massive loads of information or creating heavy information repositories.

The system will be enlarged to permit the flexible definition of personalised reports by means of using standardised presentation tools. Moreover, it is expected that other sources and end functionalities not initially considered will be added in a near future.
