Application Support Analyst

Job Description

Reporting to the Enablement Project Manager, the Application Support Analyst acts as SME in the usage and development of tools that support the activity and objectives of the Sales Enablement Team.

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Ensures that applications and technology meet business needs
  • Ensures the overall user experiences is coherent, engaging, and reliable
  • Provides expertise in the installation, administration, configuration and usage of applications selected to support the business needs
  • Works to assist other team members in the design, development, rollout and administration of technical solutions that help them to meet their goals
  • Acts as a SME for the support and eventual resolution of issues raised by the users of applications that support the Sales Enablement Team function
  • Develops and executes end-user and administrator training
  • Collaborates with the IT department in developing requirements, designing solutions, provisioning of applications and technical environments
  • Develops the functional and technical strategy that will support the business, using techniques such as sandboxing, requirements gathering, prototyping, focus groups, presentations, etc. for audiences that are technical and non-technical
  • As SME, develops the communications and training materials required to support adoption
  • Documents their processes and best practices
  • Embraces and contributes to Denodo’s company values

Qualifications

  • Ability to own and drive projects/efforts with minimal supervision
  • Methodical problem solving, able to work to deadlines
  • Experience in application design and development
  • English fluency with literacy in other languages also highly desirable
  • Effective communicator, able to engage with non-technical people to provide advice and assistance
  • Experience with administering and configuring applications such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Learning, Litmos, SalesForce, Google apps, Jira, and other common business applications
  • Experience in working in help desk environments or other types of technical support activities
