The Opportunity

Denodo is looking for a full time, experienced manager with a focus on business systems operations and internal support.. You will have previous experience in department management for business systems and the desire to be part of the company’s growth strategy. You will be hands-on and empathetic with the workers who will be under your supervision. Experience in systems such as CRMs, ERPs and Support tools will be highly valued.

As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a sharp business mind and proven success managing departments toward maximum productivity. You’ll be highly skilled in human resources, finance, and IT management. Additionally, you’ll display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team. Responsibilities:

  • Scales and manages our business systems admins/developers and Helpdesk teams to support a highly distributed and growing company.
  • Drive operational excellence; highly scalable and reliable systems infrastructure, excellent team member services using efficient and agile operations.
  • Be an advocate for innovative, efficient and simple solutions.
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Accomplishes staff job results by coaching, counseling, and encouraging employees, making changes where needed.
  • Executes a plan to develop and mature our business systems capabilities
  • Implements and enforces systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Work closely with international team and responsive to their requirements
  • Completes operations by developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards and resolving operations problems
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years’ proven experience in managing a team of 2 or more IT administrators/developers and helpdesk teams.
  • 8+ years hands on experience in an IT Operations role, and experience managing or working service/support roles.
  • Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Great organizational skills
  • Fostering teamwork & Self-development as well as giving feedback
  • Experience growing a team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proficient in the English language.

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of support software programs such as SysAid, Jira, also SalesForce, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics or other similar systems.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.
