The Opportunity

Denodo is looking for a smart, highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented and data-driven individual to join the marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing in North America, the selected candidate will manage and execute our corporate and key industry trade show /events / conferences (in-person and digitally) including our annual virtual conference and annual user conference.

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Navigate and own end-to-end operations and production requirements for Denodo corporate events and key nationwide industry and trade show events
  • Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams and stakeholders – field marketing / regional demand generation, creative/design, digital, marketing ops, to optimize events - ensuring event is set-up to drive high quality leads and maximum impact on pipeline generation
  • Engage key stakeholders in the field pre, during & post event to ensure strategies are implemented to maximize investment in event  including engagement of leads post-event in follow-up and nurture  programs
  • Manage budgets and timeline, including event logistics, contracts, purchase orders, fabrication/graphic/production timelines, vendor timelines and creative deliverables
  •  Manage vendor activity and relationships, ensuring effective communications, logistics, troubleshooting, addressing issues as they arise, etc.
  • Organize staffing, registration and lodging for internal event participants.
  • Work closely with marketing operations to ensure optimal lead follow-up processes and metrics tracking are in place.
  • Analyze and report on results and effectiveness of events with input from across all stakeholders
  • Research and recommend creative event options, venues, and entertainment based on program format and budget
  • Provide onsite event support, registration management and other duties, as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned to support corporate and nationwide events

  • BA/BS degree with 5+ years experience in corporate and tradeshow event management, preferably in the B2B and technology space
  • Understanding of the key drivers of successful event execution in digital, physical, and hybrid mediums
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams
  • Calm under pressure, with a knack for creatively overcoming obstacles
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure performance, make optimizations, and a passion for driving results
  • Experience with event technologies, including streaming platforms, registration and participant management platforms, agenda management tools, recording and editing tools, project and resource management tools, and tools for live event engagement. (Familiarity with Engagez virtual event platform is a plus)
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and high energy environment with attention to detail and maintaining quality.
  • Well organized team player who is adaptable, flexible with an agile mindset, energy, tenacity, and drive!
  • Strong project and budget management skills 
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.      
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
