The Opportunity

Denodo’s award winning enterprise Data Virtualization solutions are now available on the AWS, Azure and GCP marketplaces. We are seeking an experienced candidate to work with mid-market enterprises, to ensure they have a great experience in moving from prospect to customer as well as being a model team leader.

As a Digital Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for the management and execution of digital sales. We are seeking talented candidates with a proven track record of exceeding goals in enterprise software sales and superior leadership skills to build and mentor a team. The ideal candidate shows good knowledge of the middleware software market and superior communication and closing skills to sell licenses and software services in the Marketplace.

The selected candidate will be working closely with experienced sales and marketing leadership and be supported by a strong technical team in an ideal, fast-paced, rapidly growing startup environment to grow professionally and go beyond expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the inside sales team including recruiting, mentoring, developing and performance management.
  • Motivate and mentor the team to meet and exceed team targets by generating sales pipeline, accelerating active opportunities and driving to close.
  • Individually contribute to digital sales based on agreed criteria

    • Penetrate and develop strategic Mid-Market accounts and new prospects.

    • Facilitate the purchase of Denodo software from initial engagement to paid subscription within the respective Marketplaces (AWS, Azure and GCP).

    • Drive prospects to register for a company supported “Trial” in the respective digital marketplaces.

    • Effectively move prospects through each point in the sales process through effective guidance and support during their Marketplace trial.

  • Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management
  • Ensure internal processes are followed, including team’s adherence to tracking customer and transactional information in CRM system and other sales and operational processes. 
  • Participate in team-building and company-growth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts and customer care.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Digital sales experience - software sales or high-tech products and services
  • 5-10 years of experience selling IT Mid-Market accounts who are on the cloud or moving to the cloud.
  • Sales experience dealing with middleware and with data and application integration solutions around ETLs, Data Warehouses, Data Bases, MDM, ESBs, BPM tools, and/or SOA suites
  • Proven ability to create high performing teams and lead them to success
