As a Financial Accounting Assistant US GAAP, you will support the Finance Direction based in USA in planning, organizing, and controlling all financial aspects of the Company. We are seeking talented candidates with a desire to work in a vibrant workplace and passionate about what we do.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand monthly balance sheet reconciliation process to ensure account balances are properly recorded and supported.
  • Support Accounting team so month end and year end closings are reliable and performed within required deadlines (in US GAAP and Local GAAP accounting standards).
  • Analyze P&L and balance sheet accounts. Review accounts reconciliations.
  • Assist preparing usual tax fillings (Sales Tax, Tax returns, etc).
  • Participate in meetings with Global Accounting team to prepare closings and provide support to the business.
  • Help with the adoption of new local accounting and tax rules as well as of new US GAAP accounting standards.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Finance and Accounting with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Good knowledge of US GAAP a plus.
  • Work experience in related field is desirable but not required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, specially Excel (Pivot tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, etc.). Experience with NetSuite will be a plus.
  • Used to working across global time zones and locations with people from all over the world.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple task in high activity, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
  • High level of discretion maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a small team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and results-oriented.
