This consulting division of a global manufacturing conglomerate wanted to drive transformation across the entire enterprise but struggled with complex, inefficient, and expensive legacy systems. The division needed a new data infrastructure, one that could facilitate the development and delivery of scalable, trustworthy data products designed for internal customers.

To meet this need, the division implemented the [Denodo Platform](https://www.denodo.com/en/denodo-platform/denodo-platform) on AWS to transform the company’s data infrastructure according to a decentralized data mesh architecture. This would enable the original data owners to retain ownership, through data domains, for a more business-centric data model.
