Video: Value-Added Customer Technical Services – Practical Challenges to Overcome with Data Virtualization

Executives of leading network providers sought to improve their already world-class customer services offerings further through Smart Analytics delivered broadly to employees, customers and partners. The information platform for Smart analytics would need to leverage 360-degree view of customer information, Big Data contained in device logs, and aggregation of real-time information as well as persisted data from very many sources. These companies turned to Data Virtualization, data cleansing and high performance analytic databases as key components of the solution to deliver company-wide Data Services. This session will focus on the key technical challenges in this large-scale initiative and how they were / are being overcome with Denodo’s data virtualization platform.

Vikram Kalyanaraman, Manager, Smart Analytics, Worldwide Customer Services
Vikram is Manager of Smart Analytics and is responsible for the successful implementation of several initiatives under this umbrella. He has served in several others roles since 2005 as support engineer, program manager and business operations manager and was a software programmer and business analyst with Infosys Technologies prior to that. Vikram has a BE in Instrumentation Engineering from India.
