Job Description
As a Technical Consultant in our Customer Success organization, you will help guide clients through their data modernization journey using Data Virtualization. This role blends hands-on technical problem‑solving, solution design, and customer engagement to enable our clients to extract maximum value from their data ecosystems.
You will work on impactful projects such as:
- Integrating distributed data sources for operational and analytical workloads
- Building Logical Data Warehouses and Virtual Data Marts
- Enabling Modern BI, Advanced Analytics, and AI/ML initiatives
- Modernizing hybrid and multi‑cloud data architectures
- Delivering agile operational reporting across complex enterprise landscapes

Job Responsibilities & Duties
To be successful in this role you will require a combination of high technical expertise, troubleshooting skills and client management skills to conduct on-site and off-site consulting, product implementation and technical problem-solving. In this position you will work directly with engineers: our own staff, our partners, and our customers.
Technical Leadership
- Develop deep expertise in the Denodo Platform and deliver high‑impact technical presentations
- Address customer questions related to architecture, integration, customization, and advanced features
- Lead or contribute to the design and implementation of solutions tailored to client requirements
- Stay up‑to‑date with modern data, cloud, containerization, and AI technologies
Customer Engagement
- Build trusted relationships at technical and business levels
- Provide hands‑on consulting, troubleshooting, and architecture guidance
- Manage expectations and serve as a reliable partner throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Promote best practices and ensure alignment with customer objectives
Delivery & Collaboration
- Work closely with customers, partners, engineering teams, and support organizations
- Escalate issues appropriately and coordinate with internal experts when needed
- Develop documentation, presentations, or training content to support project success
- Contribute feedback to Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success teams
Information Security Responsibilities
- Understand and comply with Information Security policies and procedures
- Ensure all actions adhere to security best practices
- Report any real or suspected security incidents immediately
- Follow all guidelines within the Acceptable Use Policy
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3–15 years of professional experience (exceptional graduates may be considered)
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related fields
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational and analytical database principles
- Knowledge of technologies such as JDBC, XML, REST APIs, and Web Services
- Solid understanding of modern data and integration architectures
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- High curiosity, creativity, and continuous‑learning mindset
- Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and willingness to travel
We Value (Preferred / Nice to Have)
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
- Hands‑on experience with relational, NoSQL, or graph databases
- Experience with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and dB Paas platforms (Snowflake, MongoDB Atlas, etc.)
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning concepts, frameworks, or deployment workflows
- Experience with caching technologies and distributed system design
- Linux/UNIX and Windows server environment experience
- Background in ETL, Data Warehouse, BPM, CEP, or application integration
- Experience integrating with enterprise applications (SAP, Oracle Financials, BI tools, etc.)
- Experience working on mission‑critical systems in enterprise environments
- Technical documentation, white papers, or training material creation
- Foreign languages such as Spanish, French, or German
