Denodo is seeking a Senior Manager – Salesforce & Business Automation to provide strategic leadership, platform ownership, and governance across Salesforce and related business systems. This role is accountable for defining the Salesforce vision, overseeing Lead-to-Cash capabilities, managing global teams, and ensuring systems scale securely and efficiently to support business growth.
This is a senior leadership role with accountability across strategy, delivery, people leadership, architecture oversight, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Platform Ownership
- Define and own the long-term Salesforce and Business Automation strategy aligned to company objectives
- Act as Executive Product Owner for Salesforce across Sales, Finance, and Support functions
- Own platform roadmap, investment planning, and prioritisation decisions
- Balance MVP delivery with platform scalability, stability, and technical debt management
Senior Stakeholder Leadership
- Partner with executive and senior leadership across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Technology
- Translate strategic business priorities into platform initiatives and delivery plans
- Present roadmaps, architectural direction, risks, and ROI to leadership and governance forums
- Serve as escalation point for cross-functional and delivery challenges
Delivery, Agile & Execution Oversight
- Provide oversight of Agile delivery across multiple workstreams and teams
- Review and approve effort estimates, delivery plans, and release schedules
- Ensure consistent delivery standards across analysis, build, testing, and UAT
- Drive accountability for outcomes, timelines, and quality
Architecture, Integrations & Data Governance
- Provide architectural oversight for Salesforce and key integrations including:
NetSuite, Salesforce CPQ, Conga CLM, DocuSign, Marketo, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator - Review and approve high-level solution and integration architecture
- Oversee data governance, quality, migration, and lifecycle management
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards
People, Vendor & Capability Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a global team of Salesforce Managers, Administrators, and Analysts
- Build succession plans and future-ready Salesforce capabilities
- Manage strategic vendor partnerships and system integrators
- Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
Governance, Audit & Risk Management
- Own Salesforce governance frameworks, BOP approvals, and compliance processes
- Lead internal and external Salesforce audits
- Ensure audit readiness, documentation, and control effectiveness
- Identify and mitigate platform and delivery risks
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify automation and optimisation opportunities across business processes
- Stay current with Salesforce roadmap, releases, and industry trends
- Evaluate new capabilities and tools to enhance operational efficiency
Information Security Responsibilities
- Understand and comply with Security and Acceptable Use Policies
- Ensure platform usage aligns with security and data protection standards
- Escalate any real or suspected security incidents promptly
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of Salesforce platform experience in enterprise environments
- 3+ years in a people-management role leading global or cross-regional teams
- Proven ownership of Lead-to-Cash processes at scale
- Strong experience operating in Agile / hybrid delivery models
- Demonstrated experience influencing senior leadership and governance forums
- Salesforce Certified Administrator certification
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
Technical & Functional
- Deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, architecture, and data models
- Proven experience and understanding in the following architectural areas: Data Architecture, Development Lifecycle & Deployment Architecture, Identity and Access Management Architecture, Integration Architecture & Sharing and Visibility Architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ+, along with integration experience with finance systems using Boomi/Mulesoft preferred.
- Experience overseeing complex integrations and enterprise systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication skills across technical and executive audiences
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in SaaS or high-growth technology organisations
- Experience leading multi-platform Business Automation or Digital Transformation programs
